Thoughts on Today’s Verse…
Worry is something we all deal with. But the truth is, it often gets heavier because we try to carry it alone. Instead of casting our burdens on God, we hold onto them, hoping we can fix things ourselves. But the Bible reminds us in 1 Peter 5:7 to give every anxiety, every concern, every fear to God—because He cares deeply for us.
When we fully surrender our worries, we make space for God’s peace to take over. His care is not shallow or distant it’s real, constant, and personal. The same God who created the universe cares about your sleepless nights and anxious thoughts. Today, make a conscious decision to place your fears in His hands. Let go of trying to control the outcome. Let God carry what you were never meant to hold.
By trusting Him today, we not only free ourselves from unnecessary stress, but we also allow His perfect will to unfold in our lives. Remember, God has already proven His love through Jesus and He’s not about to stop caring now.
My Prayer…
Heavenly Father,
I bring all my anxiety, fear, and uncertainty before You. I confess that I’ve tried to fix things in my own strength, and it’s left me tired and overwhelmed. Today, I choose to trust You. I release my burdens into Your hands because I know You care for me.
Strengthen my faith, and help me rest in Your promises.
In Jesus’ name.
Amen.
